Most GPS’s will get you close, some will not due to our address being on 40 and 1/2 so we have included directions here.
From Fort Collins:
Take 1-25 heading south to exit 250. This is the Berthoud exit, head west for about 1 and 1/2 miles. On your left side look for CR 5. On your right will be a windbreak of evergreen trees, it is a good marker to look for. Turn left on CR 5 you are heading south. Go a mile and a half and on the right is county road 40 and 1/2. ( on your left is Pickertts Dairy). Turn right heading west; come down the hill about ½ mile. On your right side will be the sign for Dog Days training center. Look for a lot of 2 rail white fencing. Drive up the driveway to the training barn.
Take I 25 heading north to exit 250, Berthoud exit. Then follow the above directions.
These directions will take back roads that will avoid going through Longmont.
From 287: Take 287 heading north, until Hwy 52. Turn right on Hwy 52 (heading east) until you come to County Line Road. It will be the crossroad after the Therapeutic Riding Center and The Tree Farm. Turn left, heading north on County Line Road. Continue heading north, you will cross over 119, and Hwy 66. When you cross Hwy 66 go 5 more miles. On your right is CR 40, this is a dirt road. Turn right and go to the end of CR 40, about ½ mile. Turn left (heading north) on CR 3 about ½ mile on your right is CR 40 and 1/2. Take 40 and 1/2 to bottom of the hill and look for the Dog Days Training center sign on your left side. Come up the driveway to the training barn and parking lot.
287 heading north to the Berthoud Exit. Head east towards 1 25. You will go thru the town of Berthoud. When you arrive at the roundabout head east. You will continue heading east and on your right side look for County Road 5, there will be a sign for North Star Equestrian Center (look for a windbreak of evergreens on your left). Turn right (heading south) on CR 5. Go a mile and a half to County Road 40 and ½. Dairy will be on your left, turn right on 40 and ½ and go down the hill. Look for 3 rail white fencing and the sign for Dog Days Training Center. Drive up the driveway to the training barn, and parking lot.
THE GATE FOR DOG DAYS SHOULD BE OPEN FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. IF IT IS NOT, PLEASE PRESS THE CALL BUTTON AND WE WILL OPEN IT FOR YOU.
Please stay in your car until we come and get you. We want everyone to be safe, and we don’t know if the dog in the appointment before you is appropriate with people and other dogs. We will come and tell you that you can come into the training barn.
